We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. i'm guessing you macro focused the end of the flower, kept the resulting blur for the first couple petals going down the flower. and then added stronger blur to the rest downward and to the background too. maybe then some red and blue color layers? followed by an opaque black layer which you just hit the edges with? I'm guessing, i just started getting into this and am still learning my method.
